Reality is the state of things that exist as they really are or were; concrete, blunt and lacking any sort of fictional amelioration or modification. The universe of dreams is the opposite where one can freely associate a succession of feelings and ideas to create it’s projection in the form of imagined embellished images. Wondality is the association of two worlds : existence and dreams. Thus the name between the wonderland of dreams and reality. This collection is inspired by the series of emotions you experience while traveling transforming you into a storyteller. The pieces are inspired by New York’s vivid marked pedestrian’s crosswalks, Paris “ Les deux plateaux ”and its candy-striped black and white columns forming the conceptual grid. And suddenly, I was Alice in my own wonderland of chessboard like patterns, stripes and colors creating my own alternate reality in the form of jewelry.
